That is a question I ask at some point with each female avatar I film with. "Are you a woman in real life?" I ask that question when their profile gives no indication of their real life gender. To me that is a red flag. What I have learned is people tell the truth and people lie for basically the same reasons. They feel rewarded, and to get what they want. I have met some who told the truth and some have lied. Some I have Voiced with, some I have Skype with, some I have only their word. I let them know I am not interested in men who portray themselves as women in real life or in second life. Even though I have " I am Straight" in my profile I still get approached by those males portraying themselves as a female avatar.
